Co-Founder Thea Jeanes-Cochrane shares her Harvard Business School accomplishments.

I'm back in Australia after completing one of three Units of the OPM Program at Harvard Business School The learning experience, often likened to opening a firehose 🫢, is genuinely remarkable. No degree of study could have prepared us for the intense program, but especially not for the deep peer connections. It was such a privilege to be immersed with 184 Company Owners from around the globe; each of us able to share our unique industry perspectives, our diverse business experiences, and our cultures ~ a staggering 49 countries represented.

I absolutely loved engaging with my cohort in the #hbs case studies led by the World's best Harvard Professors, the team challenges, pitch contests, live negotiation tests, 1:1 coaching, (to name a few activities). A big shout out goes to the female led on ground OPM Program team. No detail was ever overlooked on our journey, beginning with the first outreach moment. Pretty incredible. The Harvard way.

The real magic of this experience is delivered through the Living Group learning model, where our larger cohort was thoughtfully curated into smaller living groups of 8. This became our family, where we did our case preparations, shared our perspectives, laughed, cried, ran, debated and learned from each other.

When I left for Boston approximately one month ago, a wise friend's words linger: "No one said it would be easy." (Actually she wore this slogan T shirt as a send off 😅). Yes, that proved too accurate, and now I am eager to apply and share the insights and learnings with the team.

PS - our cohort had 26 incredibly smart ladies, but women were underrepresented at this ratio. I care deeply about supporting female entrepreneurs, so please reach out if you are curious about this program (or other HBS programs). Happy to share my thoughts.
